Who We Are

Renaissance Community House of God is a warm, faith-filled church where people from all backgrounds come together to worship Jesus Christ, learn, and grow together. Our services blend traditional Konpa music with contemporary praise, creating a worship experience for everyone. 

Who We Serve

We serve a diverse, multicultural community with strong Creole and English-speaking roots. Our congregation includes families, students, working adults, immigrants, and longtime Newark residents. Whether you come with questions, spiritual hunger, or a desire to belong, Renaissance Community House of God is a place where you can grow, worship, and build meaningful relationships.

What We Believe

  • ​God Loves People - We believe God created every person with purpose and invites us into a life‑changing relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

  • The Bible Is Our Foundation - We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word — trustworthy, life‑giving, and our guide for faith and everyday living.

  • Jesus Changes Everything - We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who lived, died, and rose again so we can be forgiven, restored, and made new. Salvation is God’s gift to anyone who believes and follows Him.

  • The Holy Spirit Empowers Us - We believe the Holy Spirit is active today, guiding believers, transforming hearts, and empowering the church to live out God’s mission. We welcome the Spirit’s gifts, presence, and leading in our lives.

  • A Life of Growing Faith - We believe following Jesus is a lifelong journey. Through prayer, Scripture, worship, and community, we grow to become more like Christ.
